2. R1 is served and description is printed in the cause list. However, none appears on his behalf.

3. In light of the aforesaid and having regard to the reasons set out in the affidavit filed in support of the Miscellaneous Petition, the delay of 24 days in filing the Criminal appeal is condoned and this Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same for admission along with Crl.A.No.1700 of 2025.
