2026-02-16Honourable Mr.Justice Hemant Chandangoudar2 pages

W.M.P.No.54947 of 2025 W.M.P.No.54947 of 2025 in W.P.No.40454 of 2016 HEMANT CHANDANGOUDAR, J., This writ miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking amendment of the prayer.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the amendment petition has been filed on the ground that, initially, the writ petition was filed challenging only the consequential order. However, in the counter affidavit, the respondents have taken a categorical stand that the claim of the petitioner regarding prior service rendered in an Aided Institution cannot be considered for the purpose of granting increment by applying paragraph No.4(v) of G.O.(1D)No.148 Higher Education dated 11.08.2014.

3. In view of the said stand taken in the counter affidavit, the petitioner seeks to challenge paragraph No.4(v) of the said Government Order, insofar as it relates to the application of Rule 6 of F.R.22B. Page Nos.1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
