This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents to consider her representation dated 22-08-2025 for allotment of land in Mattaporyur Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District comprised in Survey No.67/1 and allot the same to the petitioner."
2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband who was an Exservice man had earlier applied for allotment of lands and gave a representation to the respondents. Since the same was not considered, he filed W.P.No. 24754 of 2016 on the file of this Court and this Court vide order dated 18-07-2016, directed the petitioner's late husband to give a fresh representation to the respondents and directed the 2/7
respondents to dispose of the representation within a period of eight weeks. Accordingly, the petitioner's husband submitted another representation. However, the same was not properly considered in letter and spirit and he was allotted a piece of land which was not within the village.
3. Hence, the petitioner's husband approached this Court for quashing the order of allotment and implement the Government order in G.O.Ms.No.1762, Revenue Department dated 17-10-2016. This Court by order dated 13-06-2017, directed the petitioner's husband to identify the land and give proper details within a period of 2 weeks and thereafter the respondents were directed to dispose of the same within a period of 4 weeks.
4. The petitioner would submit that after the death of her husband, she has been following up with the authorities for allotment. The 2nd respondent vide his communication dated 19-09-2017 has informed that if any lands are identified, the same will be considered. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the 1st respondent on 3/7
15-04-2025 identifying lands comprised in S.F.No. 67/1 in Mattaporyur Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and the same was forwarded to the 2nd respondent for consideration on 18-06-2025. In spite of the same, no action was taken. Finally, the petitioner sent a representation dated 22-08-2025 to the 2nd respondent to consider her representation for allotment of lands in Mattaporyur Village, which is still pending for consideration. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsels and perused the records.
6. The present writ petition is the third round of litigation. The petitioner's husband who was an Ex-service man had made a representation for allotment of lands. Since the same was not considered, he approached this Court. Ultimately, the petitioner's husband was directed to identify the lands and give proper details. While so, the petitioner's husband had passed away and the petitioner had identified the lands and made a representation. However, the same was not considered to date.

7. Considering the above facts, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22-08-2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. This writ petition is allowed with the above direction. No costs.
