ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders pursuant to the proceedings dated 08.08.2025 initiated by the second respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition is owned by a temple. According to the petitioner, pattas have been issued erroneously and illegally in favour of various individuals in respect of the very same property owned by the temple. Some of those pattas are required to be cancelled and they have to be restored in favour of the temple. The petitioner had given a representation on 29.04.2024 seeking for cancellation of pattas issued in favour of the individuals for the property owned by the temple. The petitioner also claims that by proceedings dated

08.08.2025 issued by the second respondent, notice has been issued to the contesting parties with regard to the petitioner's representation seeking for cancellation of individual pattas. According to the petitioner, thereafter, the respondents have not passed final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2024. Under those circumstances, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the parties in whose favour individual patta has been issued as well as any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2024 seeking for cancellation of

individual pattas issued in favour of various parties, for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the parties in whose names individual patta has been issued as well as any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
