JUDGMENT

This appeal has been filed by the Transport Corporation, questioning the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal. 2.It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned 1/4

counsel appearing for the Transport Corporation that in a connected Appeal in C.M.A. No.1892 of 2020, filed by the respondent/claimant seeking for enhancement of compensation, involving the very same accident, this Court had disposed of the said appeal on 13.12.2023, enhancing the compensation from Rs.90,000/- to Rs.1,15,000/-. 3.The judgment dated 13.12.2023 passed by this Court in the connected appeal in C.M.A. No.1892 of 2020 has also been placed on record.

4.The appellant/Transport Corporation was represented by the very same counsel, who is appearing in the connected Appeal in C.M.A. No.1892 of 2020. Only after hearing him, this Court had disposed of the connected Appeal in C.M.A. No.1892 of 2020.

5.In view of the same, there is no merit in this appeal, filed by the appellant/Transport Corporation as the compensation awarded by the Tribunal has already been enhanced by this Court in its judgment dated 13.12.2023, passed in C.M.A. No.1892 of 2020. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected C.M.P. is closed. 2/4
