ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to declare that the declaration of the results of the petitioner for direct recruitment for the posts of Post Graduate Assistant/Physical Director Grade-1, Computer Instructor Grade-I-2025 in pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent vide his proceedings in Notification No.2/2025 dated 10.7.2025 in respect of the Part-A (Tamil Paper) Examination of the petitioner, is illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the third respondent to assess the examination Part-A paper of the petitioner, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and also perused the materials placed before this Court.

It is the case of the petitioner that she holds B.A. (Economics) and M.A. (Economics) and applied to the notification issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board dated 10.07.2025 for the posts of PG Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Service for the year 2025, which contains Part A (Tamil) and Part B (major subject). There was no dispute in respect of Part B, however insofar as Part A is concerned, she refused to accept the marks
secured by her in Tamil i.e., 19 marks, as she attended all the questions and of the hope that she would be qualified, because Part A contained 30 questions totalling 50 marks, where minimum requirement is 20 marks conducted through OMR Sheet without negative marking. While so, the tentative answer key and final answer key were published and list of candidates for certificate verification were also published on 27.11.2025, where petitioner's name was not found. She believed that she should have secured more than 20 marks as she attempted all the questions properly and stated that since the results were published less than two months later, she was not able to recollect the answers marked by her and stated that the recruitment process must ensure transparency and accuracy in evaluation of her candidature. Hence, the present Petition.

On the earlier occasion, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has secured 19 marks in Part A (Tamil) whereas the cut off marks for Tamil is 20 marks and hence, he made a request for production of OMR Sheet to verify the same. At the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court had directed the respondent Board to produce the same before this Court on the next date of hearing. Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 12.01.2026, the respondent produced the OMR Sheet before this Court today. Perusal of the OMR Sheet reveals that there was no evaluation error in the OMR Sheet. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner in this Writ
Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
