ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate and file a final report in Crime No.88/2022
pending investigation on the file of the respondent police within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that that the enquiry in Crime No.88 of 2022 has been completed and the case has been referred as "mistake of fact". He further submitted that the final report has been prepared and RCS notice has also been served on the de facto complainant and the final report will be filed before the jurisdictional Court within a period of one week.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to final report in Crime No.88 of 2022 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 05-01-2026 MRN
