This petition has been filed to modify the condition in paragraph 7(a) of the order dated 10.12.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.33691 of 2025 on the file of this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by order dated 10.12.2025, in Crl.O.P.No.33691 of 2025, while granting bail, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- as a condition. He seeks modification of the said condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the total amount involved in the case is Rs.10,00,000/- and that the condition of deposit was imposed considering the nature of allegations. He further submitted that, though the investigation has been completed, no amount has so far been recovered. Hence, he opposed the modification.

4. I have also perused the order passed by the Sessions Court and the connected materials. It is seen that the petitioner has been in custody from 10.10.2025 and that some of the co-accused have already been released on bail.

5. Considering the above submissions and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed earlier in Crl.O.P.No.33691 of 2025 dated 10.12.2025 as follows: "The condition directing the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) to the credit of Crime No.691 of 2025 and the proof of the same shall be produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Poonamallee at the time of executing sureties, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) instead of Rs.1,00,000/-."

6. Except for the above modification, all other conditions imposed in the earlier order shall remain unaltered.
