Respondent(s) Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 4 to consider petitioner representations dated 31.07.2025, 09.09.2025, 06.10.2025, 08.10.2025, 09.10.2025, 10.11.2025 and 28.11.2025 and to conduct an immediate inspection of the unauthorized construction and planning deviations committed by respondent No.5 in respect of the apartment building known as Vishwaskarma Flats constructed at Plot Nos.10 and 11, Gnananantha Nagar, 2nd street, Madambakkam, Chennai-600 126 and to initiate appropriate statutory enforcement proceedings for all violations of the CMDA- approved plan, zoning norms, FSI regulations, and municipal laws and direct the removal/ demolition of all unauthorized and illegal structures, including the illegally erected gates, deviations, and violations made in the said construction.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner has filed this petition, aggrieved by inaction on the part of the Corporation in taking any action on his complaint regarding unauthorised dumping of garbage and traffic congestion due to parking of vehicles.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that representations have been made, but action has not been taken.
3. Roads and pathways have to be kept clear and any unauthorised obstruction is required to be removed. Moreover, garbage dumping is also required to be regulated by the local body. Therefore, the authority concerned in the Corporation shall examine the complaint, conduct spot inspection with regard to alleged garbage dumping and traffic congestion issues and take remedial measures.
