ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 20.08.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.P.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on Page No.2 of 6

behalf of the 3rd respondent. Since no adverse order has been passed against the 4th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the 2nd respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the 2nd respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with the assistance of the 3rd respondent police, if required, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) There shall be no order as to costs.
