ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the patta standing in the name of one Pappathi for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. 2.The third respondent is the legal heir of the deceased Pappathi and the respondents 4 to 6 are the subsequent purchasers. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that till date the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of one Pappathi has not been considered by the respondents. 3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 to 6 and any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 3 to 6, notice to the respondents 3 to 6 is dispensed with.

7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta, standing in the name of one Pappathi, for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 to 6 and also any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
