JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This writ appeal has been directed against the order passed by the writ Court dated 30.01.2017 made in W.P.No.2152 of 2017.

2. Before the Writ Court the respondent/writ petitioner sought for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent therein who are the appellant herein to allow the writ petitioner to continue in service as Tutor-cumMatron, Government Adi Dravidar Girls Hostel, Odugathur, Ambur Taluk, Vellore District till 31.05.2017 i.e. till the end of the academic year.

3. The said writ petition was allowed and a direction to that effect was issued by the learned Judge through the impugned order.

4. Heard Mr.M.Murali, learned Government Advocate appearing for the appellant.

Since the very prayer sought for in the writ petition itself for extension of service till 31.05.2017 i.e. till the end of the academic year and that period was expired long back, nothing survives in this appeal. Therefore recording the same, the writ appeal is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
