ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 21.11.2025, directing the petitioners to pay the rental arrear of Rs.99,000/-.

2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. By Consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The impugned order dated 21.11.2025 has been passed by the 1st respondent under Section 19 of the Tamil Nadu Public Trusts Act 1961, (hereinafter referred as 'The Act'), directing the petitioners to deposit the rental arrears of Rs.99,000/-. Any order passed under Section 19 of the Act is revisable as per section 22 of the Act. Since the effective alternate remedy has already been provided in the statute, the writ petition is not maintainable. 4.However, the petitioners can raise all the grievances before the District Court as raised in the writ petition including the issue of time barred

proceedings. Thus, the petitioner is directed to file such revision within a period of two weeks from today. Till such time, the 1st responder is directed not to pass any eviction order. If the petitioner fails to file revision against the impugned order within a period of two weeks from today, the 1st respondent/Revenue Court shall proceed further in accordance with law. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
