ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representations dated 24.11.2025 and 01.12.2025 of the petitioners for the purpose of releasing the ensuing seniority list in the post of inspector of police within time frame.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the the petitioners made representations to the respondent requesting to re-arrange their seniority in the post of Inspector of Police as per selection process marks as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme court while promoting them from the post of Sub Inspector to the Inspector of Police and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representations strictly in terms of the order in Civil Appeal W.O.Nos.6305 - 06 of 2025 dated 01.05.2025 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations will be considered and orders will
be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioners, this court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representations dated 24.11.2025 and 01.12.2025 strictly in terms of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal W.O.Nos.6305 - 06 of 2025 dated 01.05.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
