Respondent Prayer :- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 28.01.2008 made in RCOP No.1103 of 2007 on the file of the XVI Small Causes Judge, Chennai.
For Petitioners : Mr.V.Kadhirvelu
ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed against the fair and decreetal order dated 28.01.2008 made in RCOP No.1103 of 2007 on the file of the XVI Small Causes Judge, Chennai.
2. When the matter was listed "for admission" on 07.12.2018, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the matter is likely to be settled out of Court, hence, he sought for adjournment. At 1/3
his request, the matter was directed to be posted on 24.01.2019. Even on that day i.e., 24.01.2019, no one was represented before this Court. Thereafter, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not take any steps to list the matter even "for admission".
3. In view of the above, it clearly shows that the learned counsel for the petitioner has no interest in proceeding with the case further. Further, the Civil Revision Petition is pending for the past three years, without even admitting the same or ordering notice. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
