ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents particularly the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2025 and regularize the services of the petitioner in the post of Watchman or any other suitable post at Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Thirukoil, Kundrathur, with all consequential service and monetary benefits, taking into consideration his 80% Locomotor Disbaility.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a person with 80% Benchmark Disability and working as a temporary employee in the cadre of "Kavalar" at the third respondent temple for several years. However, his service was not regularized. Hence, he made a representation dated 2/6

29.11.2025 to the Chief Minister's Cell and respondents, seeking regularization under the humanitarian grounds and the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 29.11.2025 to the Chief Minister's Cell only and not made any representation before the competent authority, the third respondent herein.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to make a representation before the third respondent in regard to the regularization of his service, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court issues the following directions:

(i) The petitioner is directed to make a representation before the third respondent in regard to regularization of his service, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (ii) On such receipt, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
