ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd Respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2025 and further direct the 1st Respondent to release the death benefits of her son namely

Senthilkumar, served as a Head Assistant in RDO Office at Salem District within a stipulated time period fixed by this Honble Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's son died while he was in service. The 4th respondent daughter in law is no willing to give any share in the death benefits of her son. Hence, the petitioner made several representations to either order maintenance or disburse the death benefits of her son to the petitioner. No action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent

to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
