ORDER
This writ petition is filed to call for the records relating to the letter bearing No.36228/Es.2/2013 dated 31.03.2023 issued by the second respondent herein to the first respondent herein and to implement the recommendations as contained in para 11 of the above said letter and consequently direct the first respondent herein namely Government of Tamil Nadu represented by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home (Prison.2) Department, Fort St.George, Chennai 600 009, to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the post of Record Clerk.
2. By consent of both the parties, this writ is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father was employed as Cook under the control of the third respondent and died on 21.02.2011. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application for compassionate ground appointment. After a long battle, the second respondent forwarded a proposal to the first respondent vide proposal dated 21.03.2023, recommending the petitioner to the post of Record Clerk under compassionate ground. However, till date, no order was passed on the aforesaid proposal. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the proposal dated 31.03.2023, which was forwarded by the second respondent to the first respondent will be considered within a period of twelve (12) weeks.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the fair submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal dated 31.03.2023 forwarded by the second respondent, as per rules, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
