..Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' separate representation dated 29/05/2025 and to recognise the petitioners as Hereditary Trustees of Arulthiru Masimagam Kattalai attached to Arulmigu Punnageswarar Temple, Nemili Ranipet District in the line of Succession of their respective deceased fathers in pursuant to the order dated 16/08/1975 passed by the Deputy Commissioner for HR and CE Madras in O.A.No.127 /1974 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit, filed in respect of the writ petition, and the material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioners have made separate representation dated 29/05/2025 to recognise them as Hereditary Trustees of Arulthiru Masimagam Kattalai attached to Arulmigu Punnageswarar Temple, Nemili Ranipet District, in the line of Succession of their respective deceased fathers in pursuant to the order dated 16/08/1975 passed by the Deputy Commissioner for HR and CE Madras in O.A.No.127 /1974. 2.When the matter came up for admission, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents, and would submit that if every question is left opened, the first respondent will consider the prayer in accordance with law.

3.In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with the following terms:

(i) the first respondent shall take up representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2025 and hear the petitioners or any other persons who may be interested and conduct an inquiry and pass orders in accordance with law. __________Page 2 of 4

(ii)In any event, the orders shall be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
