This petition is filed to condone the delay of 549 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the appellants, notice to the respondents 1 and 3 is dispensed with.

3. Mr.J. Chandran, learned counsel who takes notice of the 2nd respondent did not raise any objection in allowing the petition. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, this petition is ordered.

4. The Registry is directed to number the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same in the ususal course.

5. It is made clear that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the default period, if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
