ORDER
This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2025 (CSR.No.266/2025) to grant police protection for fencing his lands measuring 62 cents in SF Nos.253/5A and 253/5B, Karappadi Village, Nambiyur Taluk, 2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and learned counsel for the 3rd respondent. Perused the materials available on record.

The police protection can be granted only to the life and limb of the person. That apart, the complaint lodged by the petitioner was enquired and the same was closed on the ground that the petitioner and the 3rd respondent are directed to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief. Even according to the petitioner, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the subject property, in which the 3rd respondent, who is the petitioner's vendor's vendor claiming a right over the property.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate Civil Court for appropriate relief.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
