O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to conduct further investigation in Crime No. 238 of 2025 dated 08.09.2025 and to include the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 74, 351(2) of BNS r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act instead of Section 296(b) and 115(2) of BNS and to file the final report expeditiously in pursuant of the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner / defacto complainant lodged a complaint on 08.09.2025 and a case was registered in Crime No.238 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 296(b) and 115(2) of BNS against three persons. Thereafter, the investigation has not been property conducted and the medical records of the victim, who is aged about 14 years, have not been considered, though the same were handed over to the police and a representation was submitted to the Superintendent of Police. Despite the same, the investigating officer has not considered the AR.No.5484 and the discharge summary dated 28.08.2025. 2/4

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that Accident Register and discharge summary were received and the same have been considered during the course of investigation. Further, the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2025 has also been received. The investigation is progressing in the right direction, considering the petitioner's representation. The investigation is almost at a crucial stage and the charge sheet will be filed in this case within a period of three months.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
