O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue necessary orders notifying the 'deemed acceptance' of voluntary retirement of the petitioner with effect from the forenoon of 14.11.2025 and in consequential thereof to treat the period from 14.11.2025 FN to the date of actual relief from service as 'Re-employment' and to sanction the terminal and pension benefits in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as Draughtsman Grade III by the Chief Engineer, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Chennai and posted at Administrative Office at Coimbatore Division and joined the duty on 20.10.2010 and thereafter promoted as Junior Engineer. He continued that due to health ailments, the petitioner submitted her three months notice for voluntary retirement on 13.08.2025, however, there was no response from the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief has been filed by the petitioner and thus,prayed to pass appropriate orders.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent concerned to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
