ORDER
The petitioner asserts that she is the owner of 23⁄4 cents or 1197 sq.ft in S.No.86, Maduravoyal, Chennai. According to the petitioner, she purchased the land from one Mrs.P.Rajeswari Amma under a registered sale deed dated 18.06.1986, bearing Document No.1501/1986. Upon approaching the fourth respondent in the year 2016 for a patta, the petitioner was informed that the land is subject to proceedings under the Tamil Nadu Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1978. In those circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.565 (Revenue and Disaster Management) Department dated 26.09.2008. The petitioner seeks consideration and disposal of such representation.
2. Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for all the respondents. By citing a notice dated 19.01.2026, he submits that the petitioner's representation would be disposed of within four weeks from the date of submission of the documents mentioned in notice dated 19.01.2026.
3. In the notice dated 19.01.2026, the petitioner has been directed to submit the documents listed therein. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit the documents mentioned in the notice dated 19.01.2026 within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. __________Page 2 of 4
Within one month from the receipt thereof, the third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 8.10.2025. No costs.
