ORDER

Asserting that a phrase was fraudulently concealed in sale deed dated 04.04.1932 and that a bogus partition deed dated 05.09.2024 bearing Document No.11003 of 2024 was created thereafter, the petitioner has approached this Court after issuing representation dated 18.10.2025.

2. Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the inquiry requested for by the petitioner is beyond the jurisdiction of the registering officer.

3. On perusal of the affidavit in support of the writ petition, it appears that the genesis of the petitioner's grievance is the alleged fraudulent erasing of a phrase in a sale deed dated 04.04.1932. The petitioner alleges that partition deed dated 05.09.2024 was executed by relying on the aforementioned sale deed. These are evidently disputed questions of fact, which cannot be appropriately addressed in summary proceedings under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner's remedy lies before the jurisdictional civil court. By leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil court in accordance with law, this writ petition is disposed of.
