Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 7 to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and consequently directing respondents 4 to 7 to implement the proposal of expansion of the Simpson Road by expanding to 18 meter road as new road for the betterment of access from OMR to Kannaki Nagar by connecting OMR and Bakingam Canal and to file detailed report within a time stipulated. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The following relief has been sought in this writ petition: "To issue writ of mandamus or a writ or order of any other order, or direction in the nature of the writ directing respondents 1 to 7 to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and consequently directing respondents 4 to 7 to implement the proposal of expansion of the Simpson Road by expanding to 18 meter road as new road for the betterment of access from OMR to Kannaki Nagar by connecting OMR and Bakingam Canal and to file detailed report within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."
2. The relief, as sought, cannot be granted by the writ court. It is for the administrative authority to consider the same and take appropriate decision in that regard.
