ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant new survey numbers for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he is unable to obtain the encumbrance certificate from the year 1923 to 1986 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition since new survey numbers have not been assigned till date for the said property. Since the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2025 has not been considered by the second respondent, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2025 seeking for grant of new survey numbers for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
