2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he illegally quarrying 2 units of river sand from Thenpennai river. Hence, the case has been registered.

3. Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.26313 of 2025, by order dated 24.09.2025, on the ground that the petitioner have illegally quarried sand from Thenpennai river and they also caused damage to the ecology and water body.

4. Considering the facts that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to revisit the earlier order. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 06-01-2026 DRL To 1.The Public Prosecutor, High Court, Madras.
