Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2025 and further direct the 1st respondent to award monthly maintenance to the petitioner from the 2nd respondent for her to live a respectable life with food, shelter and medication.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2025 and further direct the 1st respondent to award monthly maintenance to the petitioner from the 2nd respondent for her to live a respectable life with food, shelter and medication.

2. The case of the petitioner is that her son died while in service. The 2nd respondent is the daughter-in-law of the petitioner and she is not allowing the petitioner to get the pensionary benefits of her son. It is the further case of the petitioner that at present the petitioner is helpless. Therefore, the petitioner had made a representation dated 26.07.2025, to the 1st respondent to award maintenance to her. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/5

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2025 has not been considered till date, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
