O R D E R
The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2025 seeking permission and police protection to conduct "Cock Fight" in the petitioner's village.
Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that in W.P.No.25985 to 25987 of 2025, this Court, vide order dated 13.08.2025, held that conducting cock fight is illegal and directed the police officials to prohibit and prevent the cock fight events organized within the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. Pursuant to the said order, the Director General of Police has also issued a circular in Rc.No.3830/Crime 4(3)/2025 dated 28.08.2025. Therefore, in view of the same, permission cannot be granted to conduct cock fights. 2/6
