The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in Crime No.Not Known of 2025. The case of the petitioner is that under the pretext of conducting an enquiry in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, the respondent police are unnecessarily harassing him.

Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner is a named accused in Crime No.224 of 2025. He further submitted that the petitioner was not harassed during the investigation and that his presence is required for further investigation. 4.
