ORDER

The petitioners purchased extents of land as per details set out in paragraph Nos.2 to 4 of the affidavit. Originally, the guideline value was shown in the records of the Sub Registrar as Rs.200/- per sq. ft. The petitioners had requested for revision of such guideline value and for re-classification pursuant thereto. The petitioners state that online portal reflects that the guideline value has been revised as Rs.87,20,000/- per acre and the classification has been revised as 'Dry Garden Land Type-II'. Since the petitioners did not receive a speaking order setting out the basis for the above mentioned revisions, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for all the respondents. Adverting to a communication dated 27.10.2025 from the District Registrar, he submits that a reasoned communication on the basis of the decision of the Valuation Committee would be provided to the petitioners within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
