This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To forbear the respondents 1 and 5 from commencing any petrol / diesel outlets in S.Nos, 103/10 and 103/11 in C.Sathamangalam Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District."

2. It is informed that "No Objection Certificate" has been issued in favour of the 5th respondent permitting him to operate petrol / diesel outlets in S.Nos,103/10 and 103/11 in C.Sathamangalam Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District.

3. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.

4. It is well open to the petitioner to challenge the "No Objection Certificate" in the manner known to law. The learned Government Advocate shall furnish a copy of the said "No Objection Certificate" to the petitioner.
