ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order made in Crl.O.P.No.6617 of 2025 dated 10.03.2025, thereby directing the 2nd respondent therein to complete the investigation and 1 / 4

file a final report in Crime No.269 of 2022, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2.Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent herein had completed the investigation and closed the case as "Action Dropped" and prepared R.C.S.Notice No.124/2024 on 28.10.2024 and served RCS Notice to defacto complainant. Further, a final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholingur, on 04.11.2025 and the same is taken on file vide Crl.M.P.No.1242 of 2025 on 05.11.2025. He also produced an affidavit of the respondent dated 11.03.2026 to that effect.
