ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Chief Justice) The present contempt petition alleges non-compliance of the order dated 06.08.2025 passed in W.P.No.15214 of 2025, wherein the Division Bench had disposed of the writ petition with the following directions. " Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2025, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and the 4th respondent and thereafter take necessary action in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till appropriate action is taken by the official respondents, the 4th respondent shall not proceed with the construction."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 1 to 3 have complied with the order, whereas the 4th respondent is still proceeding with the construction. Therefore, the 4th respondent has violated the order passed by this Court.

3. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent Corporation submitted that, lock and seal notice has already been issued on 19.02.2026 and police protection also has been sought for. He further states that action shall be taken in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

4. In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the same is closed. However, the respondent Corporation is directed to take action as expeditiously as possible.
