ORDER

The Petitioner has filed the present petition seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 14.10.2024 passed by this Court in the aforesaid Writ Petition.

2. By an order dated 14.10.2024, the assessment order dated 13.07.2024 was set aside and the case was remitted back, subject to the Petitioner depositing 10% of the disputed tax within a period of four weeks from then viz., 14.10.2024. However, the Petitioner has not complied with the said order despite a considerable lapse of time. Nearly, 16 months and few days have lapsed since the order dated 14.10.2024 was passed.

3. At this stage, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is willing to deposit 25% of the disputed tax.

4. Recording the said submission, the time for depositing the amount ordered on 14.10.2024 along with the additional amount of another 15% of the disputed tax is extended by a further period of 30 days from today.

5. Subject to the Petitioner depositing the aforesaid amount within the extended period, the Respondent shall proceed to dispose of the case on merits and in accordance with law.

6. Recording the same, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.

7. The other conditions in the order dated 14.10.2024 in W.P.No.29429 of 2024 shall remains unaltered.
