The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of IPC, 1860 and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2008 in Crime No.001 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The allegation against the the petitioner is that the petitioner joining hands with other accused involved in investment scam and induced the defacto complainant to deposit Rs.45 lakhs to their accounts. Hence, the case has been registered.
3. It is the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the investigation in this case has been completed and final report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance in and the summons has been issued.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Court on receipt of summons.
