ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.06.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 81 of J.J. Act in Crime No.546 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner involved in the act of child trafficking. It is further revealed that A1 and A2 brought 7 days old child from Mumbai and kept the child under the custody of the petitioner for the purpose of trafficking the child. The information was passed to the Child Welfare officer and on receipt of the information they have searched the house of the petitioner on 20.11.2025 and rescued the child. Hence, the case
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is a permanent resident of Erode and ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 2/4
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner and two other accused have involved in the act of child trafficking and brought 7 days old child from Mumbai and kept the child under the custody of the petitioner for the purpose of trafficking the child. He further submitted that A2 and A3 in this case are still absconding and investigation in this case has not yet completed and the identity of the child is not known so far and there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence prays to dismiss this petition. 5.Considering the facts of this case, and the fact there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner and investigation in this case has not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
