ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.09.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 64(1) and 351(1) of BNS in Crime No.25 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The allegation against the petitioner herein is that, the petitioner had engaged the defacto complainant, who is aged about 19 years to assist him in his Karate class and committed rape on her. Hence, this case. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 03.09.2025; that the investigation of this case has been completed and final report also filed; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation of the case was completed, the final report has been filed and taken cognizance in P.R.C.No.66 of 2025 and the 2/4

same is also committed.

Considering the submissions made on both sides, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of offence, taking note of the fact that the case is now committed and pending for sessions case and if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is a possibility that he would tamper with the witnesses, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.

Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 06.01.2026 stn To
