ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the patta, which is now standing in the name of the petitioner's father for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner, by virtue of a Settlement Deed dated 03.03.2025 claims to be the joint owner of the aforementioned property along with his father. The petitioner seeks for inclusion of his name in the patta and has given a representation on 25.09.2025 for the said purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with

law, after hearing the objections of any other third party, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2025 seeking for inclusion of the petitioner's name in the patta, which is now standing in the name of the petitioner's father for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the documents filed along with the petitioner's representation, which includes the Settlement Deed dated 03.03.2025, after hearing the objections of any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
