O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 354 and 506(i) of the IPC r/w u/s 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002, in Crime No.169 of 2023, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/3

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reported that, in this case, investigation was completed and final report also filed and the same has been taken cognizance and the summons have been issued.

3. In view of the fact that the summons were issued by the learned Magistrate and since, there is no apprehension of arrest, there is no need for granting anticipatory bail.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned learned Magistrate on receipt of summons.
