The petitioner was arrested on 12.12.2024, on execution of NonBailable Warrant issued by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hosur, for the offence punishable under Sections 427, 452, 302, 109, 120B, 34, 147, 148 and 341 of IPC pending trial in S.C.No.81 of 2024 in connection with Crime No.779 of 2023, seeks bail. 2.
The petitioner herein earlier arrested and granted bail by the Trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.2146 of 2024 dated 20.09.2024. After the case was committed to the Court of Sessions in S.C.No.81 of 2024 on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hosur, the trial has been commenced. On 15.11.2024, the petitioner did not appear before the Court. Hence, Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) was issued. Thereafter, the respondent police arrested the petitioner and remanded to judicial custody on 12.12.2024.
3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that earlier bail petitions filed by the petitioner, by orders dated 11.09.2025 and 06.10.2025 in Crl.O.P.Nos.24793 of and 26943 of 2025, respectively were dismissed. He further submitted that the case is now pending for trial and the petitioner has 21 previous cases. 2/4
4.
Considering the fact that the petitioner has bad antecedents, and taking into account that this is the third bail petition filed by the petitioner without any change in circumstances after dismissal of the earlier bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.26943 of 2025, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
5.
Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 06.01.2026 stn K. RAJASEKAR, J.
