Respondents PRAYER Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to allow the petitioner's to perform poojas framed scheme order in O.A. No.144/1968 dated 05.03.1973 and also order passed by second respondent in O.A.No.4 of 2025 dated 22.09.2025 based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2025. For Petitioner:

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction, directing the 3rd respondent to allow the petitioner to perform poojas framed scheme order in O.A. No.144/ 1968 dated 05.03.1973 and also order passed by the 2nd respondent in O.A. No.4 of 2025 dated 22.09.2025 based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2025.

2.Heard Mr.G.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. In view of the nature of the orders passed in WP.No.50043 of 2025 dated 19.12.2025, this writ petition is disposed of in the admission stage.

4. It can be seen that when a similar claim was made by yet another person namely Mr.S.Anandan, in W.P.No.50043 of 2025, the matter was disposed of on 19.12.2025 directing the 2nd respondent therein, Joint Commissioner HR & CE, Villupuram, by remanding the matter back for fresh disposal, by issuing notice to all the parties interested, including the petitioner, and after hearing all concerns, dispose the matter in accordance with law.

5. Similarly, in respect of the petitioner herein also, the 2nd respondent, Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Villupuram, shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2025 into inquiry. The Joint Commissioner shall issue notice to the petitioner as well as any other person who may be interested in opposing the same, including the Executive Officer of the temple. Thereafter, the same shall be decided in accordance with law on merits, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order without waiting for the certified copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 07-01-2026 nsl To
