ORDER
W.M.P. No.56026 of 2025 is ordered subject to the payment of separate court fees.
2.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's applications dated 11.11.2025 and 21.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3.The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the aforementioned property. He has submitted applications with the respondents seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the said applications have not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's applications as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners or any other third party, if any, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's applications seeking for issuance of patta.
7.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's applications seeking for issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners or any other third party, if any, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
