ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of his appeal, dated 23.09.2024, pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Aggrieved by the order passed by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has preferred the aforesaid appeal before the 1st respondent. Since the said appeal has not been disposed of till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents 3 to 9, notice to the respondents 3 to 9 is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's appeal is directed to be disposed of by the 1st respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's appeal, dated 23.09.2024, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 3 to 9 and any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
