Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue police clearance certificate (PCC) to the petitioner in her Application File No. CB2084973236025 and consequently enable the petitioner to travel to Kuwait pursuant to her valid employment visa by considering the 1/4
petitioner's explanation dated 24.11.2025 within time frame that will be fixed by this Hon'ble Court and may pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper to the facts and circumstances of the case and thereby render justice.

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "directing the 1st respondent to issue police clearance certificate (PCC) to the petitioner in her Application File No. CB2084973236025 and consequently enable the petitioner to travel to Kuwait pursuant to her valid employment visa by considering the petitioner's explanation dated 24.11.2025 within time frame that will be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that a criminal case in STC.No.259 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Veppandhattai is pending against the petitioner 2/4
and the next date of hearing is 05.02.2026. Therefore, the competent forum to redress the petitioner's grievance is the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Veppandhattai.
3. In view of the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to approach the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Veppandhattai, for redressal of her grievance.
