ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a mandamus to direct the second and third respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that in the Chitta and the "A" Register for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, the total extent of the property has been wrongly mentioned. The petitioner seeks for correction of the same through his representation dated 16.09.2024. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2024, seeking for correction of the extent of the land in the Chitta and "A" Register for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition is considered on merits and in accordance with law by the second respondent, who is the competent authority within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2024.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's

representation dated 16.09.2024, seeking for correction of Chitta and "A" Register as well as the Revenue Records pertaining to the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which the petitioner claims to be the owner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
