ORDER
The petitioner traces title to plot bearing Natham Survey No.298/18 to the extent of 22 sq.mtrs. and Natham Survey No.295/2 to the extent of 334 sq.mtrs. at Melapulam Village, Nemili Taluk from his great grandfather Mr.Gurusamy Mudaliar, who is said to have purchased the same under sale deed bearing Document Nos.3312 of 1958 and 2000 of 1972. After executing a sale deed, the petitioner presented the same for registration. On the ground that the request for registration was declined orally, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for all the respondents. After pointing out that the petitioner has not filed refusal check slip or any other document evidencing refusal, he submits that the request for registration would be considered, if the petitioner were to re-present the document and fulfill other requirements relating thereto.

3. Considering the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:
3.1 The petitioner shall re-present the sale deed before the registering officer within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; 3.2 Subject to fulfillment of other requirements under the Registration Act, 1908 and the Rules framed thereunder, the third respondent shall either register the instrument or issue a speaking order of refusal within two weeks from the date of representation. There shall be no order as to costs.
