ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 19.11.2025 and to circulate the internal enquiry report to the petitioner and to dispose of the appeal petition dated 9.03.2024 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was appointed in 2019 as Manager and thereafter in 2023, he was promoted as Manager(Engr.) as per the order of the Managing Director in Tanjore Union on deputation basis. While he was working as Manager (Engg.) he was issued a charge memo on 27.04.2023. On 12.05.2023, the petitioner has submitted his explanation. Without satisfying the same, the respondent has initiated disciplinary proceedings as against the petitioner. The third respondent has passed the final order by punishing the petitioner. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the second respondent dated 09.03.2024 to drop the punishment of stoppage of increment for the period of one year based on the enquiry report and the same is not considered. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Adocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
