ORDER
The petitioner seeks transfer of O.S.No.283 of 2019 pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Chengelpet, to the file of the City Civil Court, Chennai.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, both learned counsel submitted that both parties are residing at Chennai. The respondent also stated that he has no objection for transfer of the case.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since both parties are residing at Chennai, transfer of the proceedings to Chennai would not cause prejudice to either party.
4. Accordingly, O.S.No.283 of 2019 pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Chengelpet, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the I Additional District Court, Chennai.
5. The Principal District Court, Chengelpet, is directed to transmit the case records to the I Additional District Court, Chennai, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Upon receipt of the records, the I Additional District Court, Chennai, shall issue notice to all the respondents and thereafter proceed with the matter in accordance with law and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the case records.
7. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. No costs.
